Super Bowl Sunday always delivers tons of hilarious, heartwarming ads, but this year one of the most anticipated is the first peak at The Handmaid’s Tale.

The upcoming, 10-episode series is based on Margaret Atwood’s bestselling novel about the dystopian society of Gilead, in which fertile women are forced into sexual servitude in order to produce children for the ruling class. Elisabeth Moss stars as Offred, one of the concubines torn from her family to be indoctrinated as a slave; Gilmore Girls‘ Alexis Bledel will play Ofglen, a fellow, subversive handmaid, and Orange Is the New Black‘s Samira Wiley will take on the role of Moira, Offred’s friend.

The first trailer for the series, released last month, gave us our first glimpse of Gilead, but in the latest 30-second teaser that hit the web Friday, we see even more of Offred’s world, from her daughter being taken away from her, to a room full of handmaids, to the Commander, Offred’s captor. “You girls will serve the leaders and their barren wives,” a women’s voice declares. We also see a snippet of Offred with a swollen eye, and a flash of a scene that implies she (or at least one of the handmaids; they all wear the same red cloaks) is pregnant.

The teaser ends with one ominous statement. “My name is Offred and I intend to survive,” the protagonist says.

We’ll see how it all unfold for Offred when The Handmaid’s Tale hits Hulu on April 26. In the meantime, check out the new teaser, below:
