Seeing Double

blog_obama.jpgDid anyone else experience a moment of déjà vu during Barack Obama's victory speech on Tuesday night? No, I'm not talking about the perpetual use of the word "Change." I'm talking about Michelle Obama's outfit. Sleeveless fuchsia frock, belted at the waist and adorned with a single strand of pearls. Sound familiar? If you've seen the film "Sex and the City," it should. A notably similar outfit was worn by Carrie in the scene at the Diane Von Furstenberg boutique, when she tells Samantha--well, I won't spoil it. Of course, the fashion-savvy Mrs. O has been a little busy of late. As such, she's surely one of the few women in America who've yet to see the film. Just chalk it up to a sartorial coincidence.
