Liev and Naomi are Charmed

blog_finn_necklace.jpgWhen I interviewed Liev Schreiber for the October issue, I asked him about the gold shark's tooth pendant he was wearing around his neck. He told me it was actually wife Naomi's, made by a friend of theirs, young New York jewelry designer Soraya Silchenstedt, whose line is called Finn.

Reached by phone, Silchenstedt, 29, told us that she's known Schreiber for about seven years now, dating back to when they were next door neighbors in a building in NoHo. (She said she'd often run into him when he was out taking his dog, Chicken, for a walk.) Schreiber has bought Naomi a couple of Finn pieces through the years but he liked the shark's tooth piece himself so much he now wears it more than she does.

Finn is carried at Barneys New York. The 18k gold-and-diamond Mako Tooth necklace (above) is $2,070. The plain version (on Schreiber, below) is $975.
