Charlotte Ronson's Flame Out

When I interviewed Charlotte Ronson last week about her swimwear collaboration with  Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss, I couldn't help but be distracted by her crazy manicure. Charlotte's nails were painted with a red, orange and yellow flame design that would ordinarily be at home on the hood of a 1980s Camaro.

blog_charlotte_nails.jpgAs she explained, she had just had them done on a recent trip to LA. "I always go straight to CT Nails when I get out there," Charlotte said. "I can't find anyone in New York who will do it."  The design is airbrushed on and the whole process takes just a few minutes.
