Good use of your noodle

For New Yorkers who are so over SoHo House there's a new pool party in town. While it has no membership requirements—or water for that matter—it's quickly attracted a following. Designed by Jeffrey Inaba, Pool Noodle Rooftop is a whimsical outdoor hangout atop the  X-Initiative art space on West 22nd St. Using hundreds of plastic foam pool noodles, Inaba crafted surprisingly comfortable seating in the form of x-shaped chaises and ottomans. When viewed from above, the arrangement of furniture spells out the word "bububluooopppp," which is allegedly the noise of something floating or sinking.
