Dsquared: Wall-to-wall with R&B royalty

Tuesday night was the Dsquared party and I could not stop taking photos of all the R&B singers—not to mention all their designer accessories.

blog_dsquared_01.jpgRight before the party, I spotted R&B star Amerie ("1 Thing", above) at the Bryant Park Hotel, who's been out and about all Fashion Week. Her accessories included a necklace as a belt; a Pamela Love ring; a Charles David bag and Chloe shoes. She told me that just shot her latest video with Lil Wayne, which she describes as "very Mad Max." (She wears Alexander Wang in the video, fyi.)

blog_dsquared_05.jpgThen at the Dsquared party, I ran into model Sessilee Lopez (above, far right), who had just finished up the Baby Phat show. She was dressed in Dsquared and said that she hadn't done the Baby Phat show in three years, "so it was fun to see Kimora and the kids."

blog_dsquared_02.jpgI had a chat with the funny and sweet Estelle (above), who was dripping in Chanel accessories, having just come from the Chanel movie premiere.  ("Coco is me in a former life," she swooned.) When asked if she was enjoying her fashion week, she said, "I am tired, and I am drunk!" Gotta love that.

blog_dsquared_03.jpgAs if that wasn't enough, I also saw Ciara (above), who was wearing a Dsquared tux. ("Anything I wear I like it to have some strength to it," she said.) And former Destiny's Child member Letoya Luckett (below), whose new song "She Ain't Got" is a big favorite in the W accessories department. And since I notice these things, she was also wearing Gucci shoes.
