Beauty obsession of the week: One heck of a hairspray

blog_elnett_01.jpgMaybe it's the fact that basically every hairstylist at every fashion show I've ever been to has wielded this. Maybe it's because, until recently, it was only available in Europe. Or it could be because the can, with its frosty gold veneer and classic beauty parlor illustration of a glamorous woman, is terribly Mad Men. But I think the real reason I'm obsessed with L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray is that it's never heavy, never sticky, its nozzle never gets clogged, and I can spray and spray my Betty Draper curler-set coif without ever worrying that I'll end up with hair that looks more like Peggy Olsen's. $13.49, at Target
