Last night Real Housewife of New York—and this season's villain—Jill
Zarin hosted a party at Zarin Fabrics to celebrate the launch of the
book she co-authored with her sister, Lisa Wexler, and her mother,
Gloria Kamen. To answer what's surely your most pressing question, no,
Jill's former best friend and current nemesis Bethanny Frankel was not
in attendance. So who was? Kelly Killoren Bensimon preened for reporters
in a tight sequin "dress" we're pretty confident was meant to be worn as
a shirt, and Ramona Singer made a brief appearance. Of course Lisa and
Gloria were on hand, munching on the mini noodle kugels, as were Jill’s
husband Bobby and daughter Ali, who were both looking better than ever.
Jill's new BFF Countess LuAnn de Lesseps arrived fashionably late and
accompanied by her new boyfriend, whose likeness to David Schwimmer in a
Balki Bartokomous wig is stunning
(evidence below).

But perhaps most exciting was the
collision of Bravo reality show worlds: New Jersey Housewives Caroline
and Dina Manzo came out to toast Jill with their daughters in tow.
Caroline may win the prize for best first-to-second season
transformation—usually after a season of watching themselves on
television, reality stars come back with frightening nips and tucks or
at least a tragically non-age appropriate new style. But Caroline looked
pretty and low key with soft makeup, expert hair color, and a killer
quilted Louis Vuitton bag. She engaged in an extended bonding session
with fellow Bravo star Kelly Cutrone—could these two power girls from
opposite sides of the Hudson be brand new besties? We can only dream.
