Accoutrement Envy at YSL and Chanel

paris_FW.jpgblog_ysl_chanel_acc_01.jpgClassic and chic was the name of the game at Yves Saint Laurent, where Stefano Pilati delivered a sparse yet splendid smattering of accessories (quality, not quantity, remember?). The shoes were standouts, namely the red croc platforms, and those black leather gloves with molded bangles were genius.

Case in point: the Lucite case—an apparent play on the ubiquitous plastic clamshell packaging—featuring built-in compartments for a quilted bag, lipstick, blush, fragrance, sunglasses (all Chanel, of course) and iPod.
