It felt like all of downtown showed up for the New Museum's opening of "The Generational: Younger Than Jesus," a much-hyped exhibition featuring 50 artists all under the age of 33. As the galleries swelled to capacity (with a line snaking down the block), the fashionable crowd clambered up the steps to the museum's top floor for Campari cocktails, a DJ and a panoramic city view. A member of Gen Y himself, our Gallery Go-Round photographer, Ryan James MacFarland, captured the scene with the ubiquitous gadget for the under-33 set—the iPhone camera.
