Erdem Moralioglu's collection of cheerfully geeky, statement-making sunglasses -- a collaboration with Cutler and Gross -- are a reminder of the designer's expert use of prints and color. Standouts include one featuring a print inspired by the shorts worn by a Japanese fisherwoman (above) , which the designer saw in a photograph; and one pair with black lace encased in the frame (below). But don't let this geek-chic fool you. As Erdem told me during a recent market appointment, the shades "were also inspired by eyewear worn by Kurt Cobain and Iris Apfel." In other words, they have cult classic written all over them. $495 at net-a-porter.com.
