A recent visit to the H. Stern store on New York’s Fifth Avenue
reminded me how well the Brazilian jewelry house does collaborations. A
few that come to mind are its collections with Catherine Deneuve (1985),
the Campana brothers (2002) and Diane von Furstenberg (2004); the
latter, in fact, is still one of H. Stern’s best sellers. One of
my own personal favorites is these 18k yellow-gold beauties from the
firm’s partnership with master hair stylist Frederic Fekkai
(2006). Four years later, they’re still the epitome of a simple
yet chic design.
