I've been on the hunt for my shoe of the summer, and I think I just found it. A quirky and colorful take on the now ubiquitous oxford, these Cheeky shoes, as they're dubbed, are a collaboration between Boxing Kitten (a new clothes line founded by designer Maya Lake) and Osborn (a socially-conscious Brooklyn company that has its wares made by artisans in Guatemala). Mine won't arrive until later this month but I'm already loving them for two reasons: The soles are made from recycled tires so I'm doing a small part for the environment, and only 50 pairs were produced -- which means I won't be seeing them on every girl in town. $180, at boxingkitten.com.
