Brow Wow Wow, Continued...

Maybe they saw our October issue, or maybe great minds just think alike, but the bleached brow look that ran in our magazine was seen at a few shows this week. At Alexander Wang, Diane Kendal erased the brows to match the rest of the face's neutral palette. And at Marc Jacobs, François Nars had the brows removed then did the girls up in full Seventies glossy glory. "It still gives makeup a decedent look, and it's more interesting and wild," commented Nars. "If you remember, in the early Seventies, brows were not really featured." Then Brooke Shields came along and changed everything. Interesting thought: a brow-less Brooke.
