Fabulous Find: Smythson and Fulton Stationary

blog_smythson_01.jpg While out in the market this past week with Talya Cousins, I came across a unique collaboration between the established English luxury brand Smythson and young Scottish designer Holly Fulton. Fulton, winner of the 2009 Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Accessories, was enlisted by Smythson to design a collection of limited edition books, 2011 diaries, and stationary. The marriage between the two is refreshing and adds a heavy dose of fun to a sophisticated brand.

blog_smythson_02.jpgWe loved the flapper chic illustrations adorning the soft leather and silk paper goods. If the use of Holly's favorite colors, a combination of black with yellow and pale aqua, are any indication of how the collaboration between the two will fare, we can guess it is going to be a bright season ahead for both brands. Kudos!

The Smythson and Fulton stationary collection will be available late October.
