Thomas Sires Opens in NoLita

blog_thomas_sires_01.jpg Over the weekend Thomas Sires opened its first lifestyle store in Manhattan’s NoLita neighborhood. Fiona Thomas and Allison Sires, co-designers of the store’s namesake label, are friends and former fashion industry colleagues who met in 2008 while working together at Loeffler Randall. The pair’s debut collection, in the shop now, was inspired by trips to Paris and Tokyo—think striped French terry cropped sweatshirts, printed silk dresses and menswear inspired wool pants and blazers. The space was designed by architect Jeremy Barbour and, like the brand, is full of unexpected details and mixed materials. It’s a one-stop shop that launched just in time for last minute holiday shopping.
