Trojan might want to take note: designer collaborations are moving into
some unexpected territory. Vena Cava’s Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock
applied their downtown style to Proper Attire condoms—covering the
packages with all manner of cheeky euphemisms (including an impressive
number of colloquial terms for condom) in their signature hand-scrawled
text. “We thought that the print would act as a good conversation
starter at Planned Parenthood health centers in helping to promote safer
sex,” says Buhai.

The designs debuted today at Vena Cava’s F/W show, as they join a long
line of designers like Charlotte Ronson, Alexander Wang, and Jeremy
Scott, who have all collaborated with Proper Attire. A three-pack sells
for $5.99, and all proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood. For retail
