Artistic Vision

blog-rayban-01.jpg In 1971, John Baldessari famously pledged in an intentionally mundane 13-minute video not to make any more boring art. For his latest project, a collaboration with L.A. eyewear brand Freeway (founded by Alex Israel, his former intern, now an artist with a solo show at Berlin's Peres Projects), the conceptual-art pioneer has scrawled i will not look at any more boring art across an arm of the brand's L.A. Rays style and signed it. Available in an edition of 200, in white on black or black on cream (freewayeyewear.com; $200).
