Last night, the online retailer celebrated its latest destination: bringing the best of Mexico City to its customers, no passport required.
Guests couldn’t keep their hands off of one of the real standouts: a
series of ikat print Rebozo scarves (above) from Francesca
Bonato’s collection at Hacienda Montaecristo: they’re handmade in a
labor-intensive process of knotting, dying, and pedal-loom weaving, and
can take up to two months to create.
Though not easily overshadowed were the beautiful jewelry from Dezso by
Sara Beltran collections (above, left), and pieces from emerging
designers Maurizio Fernandez (above, right) and Gabriela Artigas.
Phoebe Stephens, Annette Stephens and Francesca Bonato And the only thing better than taking one of these pieces home is knowing that ten percent of all proceeds from the collection go to benefit Project Paz, a charity which works to promote peace in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
