Prada's Parallel Universe
A pint-size car racing along a pair of Dixie
sunglasses, a man teeing off on the bridge of a pair of Teddy sunnies,
studded Rocket shoes becoming the roofs of twinkling skyscrapers. What
world is this? It's the design house's surreal Spring 2012-inspired
concoction: "Where two parallel universes meet under the auspices of
Prada style." The mesmerizing gifs were dreamed up by Vahram Muratyan,
the Armenian-born illustrator who came to fame with his playful, graphic
images depicting the differences between Paris and New York.
