Winged Victory

blog-feather-inspired-watches.jpgFeather-bedecked gowns beg for attention on the red carpet, but social swans seeking serious notice should try adding some plumage to their watches. Harry Winston’s rose gold beauties feature dials layered in a delicate mosaic of pheasant feathers, like the speckled Lady Amherst (top) and silver (bottom) varieties; Dior was inspired by the boning on its couture gowns to create a watch with a semicircle of 25 rooster feathers that rotate around the face in sync with the wearer’s wrist.
