As Ravenna the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Huntsman, in theaters
tomorrow, Charlize Theron must consume Snow White’s heart in order to
secure her “Fairest One of All” status for perpetuity. Naturally, being
a medieval beauty icon, she wouldn’t just use her bare hands. So the
filmmakers enlisted Solange Azagury-Partridge to design a “heart
plucker” ring, a blackened sterling silver, dual-fingered number with
sharp talons and a studded base decorated with cubic zirconia. As the
British jewelry designer is more known for her bewitching, highly
artistic pieces than those with malicious intent, the assignment proved
a provocative challenge.

Real life ladies looking to mimic the tough queen look can place a special order for the ring at the designer’s Madison Avenue boutique (it can also be custom made with precious stones). Young maiden’s heart not included.
