Ear Candy: Hot Chip

blog-hot-chip-in-our-heads-01.jpg Whether experienced on a dance floor at 3 a.m. or through earbuds on your morning commute, In Our Heads—Hot Chip’s fifth album and the follow-up to 2010’s One Life Stand—is a great up-and-down ride. It’s an infectious and danceable album intercut with the sensitive slow jams more common on the English group’s earliest releases. Our picks: the pretty, melancholic “Look at Where We Are” and the driving “Night and Day,” which comes with a futuristic music video featuring another favorite of ours: Lara Stone.
