Killer Joe, the subject of a Monday night, Bally-sponsored Cinema
Society screening, is far from prim, featuring as it does Matthew
McConaughey as a nutso Dallas cop-cum-hit man, hired by Emile Hirsch to
knock off his mother (it's based on Tracey Letts' award-winning play of
the same name). But at least three gals in attendance showed up at the
Tribeca Grand event and No. 8 after party wearing demure collared looks
more befitting, say, a showing of Damsels in Distress. Political
Animals star Carla Gugino's black and gold Valentino RED shift dress (left) featured lapels
of the Peter Pan variety, Nicole Trunfio (center) paired a sheer Theyskens Theory
blouse with a nude Alexander Wang skirt and Rinko Kikuchi (right) tucked a
patterned silky top into mini-denim shorts. Hot under the collar, anyone?
