That 90's Show: MTV's House of Style

MTV's House of Style first debuted in 1989, and has since become a signature of MTV's pre-Jersey Shore golden years. In anticipation of its revival of the groundbreaking show, MTV has—hold your breath— released full clips of every one of its episodes on MTV.com. For those of us who are too young to remember what Kate Moss was like as a teenager or that Sofia Coppola did anything before The Virgin Suicides, now is the time to educate ourselves on all things fashion and culture in the nineties. Here are our favorite clips (and a bonus one of one of our staff members!):

Cindy and Tracey Ullman try on designer clothes together in a Trump hotel suite. Watch as Tracey mocks the fashion industry and draws multiple Crawford-esque birthmarks on herself.

Cindy hangs out with Will Smith and takes a tour of the Fresh Prince set. The best part of this one is Will's attempt at flirting with a supermodel by jumping off a flight of fake stairs.

A profile on Kate Moss at nineteen. Moss talks about her future and wanting children, all with a tiny voice and sunny, pre-Pete Doherty disposition.

Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze produce a renegade street fashion show for brand "X-Girl," right across the street from a Marc Jacobs show. Audience members include The Beastie Boys, Steven Meisel, Anna Sui, Bill Cunningham, Linda Evangelista, Francis Ford Coppola, Zoe Cassavetes, and Chloe Sevigny.

An incredibly unassuming Gwen Stefani talks about No Doubt's unexpected success and shows off her eclectic wardrobe. It's awesome to see what her wardrobe looked like before it evolved into her own brand.

And one bonus video of our very own Cristina Martinez, W's Production director, in her vintage House of Style Clip!
