The view from Brooklyn Bridge Park by night is remarkable on its own; add the experience of listening to Patti Smith read her poetry while you’re gazing across the river at the Manhattan skyline and you’ve got a perfect New York evening. The outdoor-lit series Books Beneath the Bridge is hosting the iconic musician, artist, and writer tonight for a reading from Woolgathering, an intimate poetic memoir she first published in 1992, followed by a few questions and a book signing.
