Who: Yoko Ono, Julianne Moore, Nadja Swarovski, Elizabeth Olsen, Alex Wek, Bruce Weber, and the crowd of SoHo tourists that gathered outside of the store.

What: The usual drinks and bites with the very Yoko addition of a “wishing tree” at the back of the store. Ono told the crowd that all wishes—little notes on tags—would be placed at the base of her new Imagine Peace Tower installation in Iceland.

Where: Swarovski’s SoHo Crystallized store

When: Wednesday, September 5th

Why: To toast Yoko Ono’s collection of crystal key pendants, the “Key to Open the Universe”. “This key is something that can’t really open one thing, or a material thing, it’s a spiritual thing,” said Ono. “Its power is a spiritual power. When you carry this, you feel like you are actually opening things or you are ready to open things…whatever you want to open.”
