The Robert Clergerie facade
Located on rue de Grenelle, the shop’s interior features the work of French lighting designer Thierry Dreyfus—known for his work on Hedi Slimane’s runway shows at Dior Homme and Yves Saint Laurent’s shows at, well, YSL—whose geode light boxes serve double duty as art pieces and display surfaces for shoes and bags.
The shop's interior
The installations, along with the juxtaposition of metal, lacquer, and felted accents, serve as the perfect backdrop for creative director Roland Mouret’s first collection for the brand. Mouret’s designs, out now, run the gamut from embossed exotic laceups with a rubberized sole to wooden-platform suede booties with perforated details. He both captures brand’s signature blend of 1920’s and 1970’s style and updates it with a 2020 edge.
With all this in mind, come for the shoes and stick around for the art.
