After Hours: MCNY'S DARK NIGHT

Tuesday evening, the Director's Council of the Museum of the City of New York held its annual New York After Dark party, taking over the Four Seasons restaurant's Pool Room. A loyal crowd—one guest jokingly referred to it as "WASP central"—gathered at the Graff and Badgley Mischka-sponsored event for cocktails and posh passed hors d'oeuvres (beef tartare, smoked salmon and caviar blinis). The night also honored Eric Javits, Jr., Celerie Kemble and Allison Rockefeller for their work as philanthropic New Yorkers. Kemble, for one, was so overwhelmed with smiling fellow guests in the packed room that her spouse slipped out of sight.  "I've lost my husband and I'm okay with it," she joked, nonetheless craning her neck in search of him.
