The Show: Prabal Gurung

The Look: Military fatigue—the collection’s strong military influence inspired the blown back flyaways and weathered dry texture from hairstylist Paul Hanlon for Schwarzkopf Osis. Brushed up brows and ruddy blush high on the cheekbone by MAC makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury were meant to evoke the outdoor warrior. Jin Soon Choi for Sally Hansen added a gold carrot to the army green nails for a twinkle of femininity.

The Products: Schwarzkopf Osis Dust It Mattifying Powder, and Prabal Gurung for Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Loden Green and Coat of Arms (out fall 2013).

The Tricks: To achieve a just-in-from-the-cold rosy cheek, Tilbury used MAC Lip Palette in forecast colors (out in March) for the blush and topped it with stick foundation. She also blended the color a bit closer toward the nose than usual, like a natural sun kiss.

The Scoop: Choi says the “V” is the new half moon for nail art.
