The Show: Diane von Furstenberg

The Look: Seventies glam—the screaming magenta pout isn’t just for going to a party, “it says life is a party,” says makeup artist James Kaliardos, working for MAC. The side-parted, textured hair varied slightly per girl, according to T3 hairstylist Oralndo Pita, but all harkened back to Diane von Furstenberg herself.

The Products: MAC Lip Pencil in Process Magenta, MAC Cream Shadow in Rustic Red (part of MAC’s forecast eye palette out in March), and an inch-and-a-half barrel curling iron.

The Trick: To make the lips look plump, Kaliardos filled them in with the creamy lip pencil and then extended the application just slightly above the Cupid’s bow and slightly below the lowest dip of the lower lip. He then softened the outer line by rolling a cotton swab along the edges.

The Scoop: In synch with the live-it-up theme, Cara Delevigne was heard belting out Rihanna’s “Diamonds” backstage.
