Backstage at Rodarte Fall 2013There are fewer makeup mishaps more annoying than having your mascara dripping, but leave it to James Kaliardos to make even that look enviable. The glopped goo hanging from the models’ lower lashes at Rodarte looked like black icicles, an effect Kaliardos created by dotting Nars Liquid Eye Gel (out in August) with a mascara wand. “The theme is California girls,” explained JKal. “It’s so hot, their mascara is melting.”
