Andrea Riseborough Has Quietly Been Upstaging Emma Stone’s Style on the Battle of the Sexes Promo Tour
You may not know the name Andrea Riseborough yet, but through the Battle of the Sexes promotional tour, she’s been making sure you remember her red carpet appearances. Emma Stone‘s costar in the sports biopic about Billie Jean King, Riseborough made her name starring in Madonna’s W.E. as Wallis Simpson and has since gone on to star in such critical darlings as Birdman and Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals. In fact, it seems her association with Ford—who took her to this year’s Met Gala and invited her to his Spring 2018 show in New York—and her relationship with Maryam Malakpour (best known as Mick Jagger’s stylist), has upped Riseborough’s fashion game to the degree that she’s sometimes outshining her far more well known leading lady Stone as they make the rounds. At this week’s New York premiere, the British actress stunned in a marigold Monse gown, while at the Toronto Film Festival, she opted for an edgy leather minidress by Saint Laurent.
