Behind the Scenes of “Brooklyn”
John Crowley’s “Brooklyn” has been one of the most talked about films in the festival circuit since it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, solidifying its stature as an awards contender with an acclaimed berth in Toronto. Saoirse Ronan, starring alongside Domhnall Gleeson, Emory Cohen, Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters, plays Eilis Lacey, a young immigrant from Ireland who finds herself in ‘50s-era New York City entangled in a complicated romance. Here, Crowley opens up about his favorite moments from the set of the Nick Hornby-scripted drama.
