Chanel's Extravagant Métiers d'Art Show in Germany Included Kaia Gerber and Plenty of Hats
Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to make Hamburg, Germany the chicest destination on a random Wednesday evening. For Chanel's latest Métiers d'Art show, Lagerfeld once again transformed a faraway destination into Chanel land, if for one night only. The runway show took place in the city's Elbphilharmonie, a theater space that the designer filled with a live orchestra. Kristen Stewart and Lily-Rose Depp were among those filling out the space's many balconies to watch top models Kaia Gerber, Stella Maxwell, Anna Ewers, and Grace Elizabeth, among others take to the winding runway. The clothes themselves were an homage to the Sixties, with miniskirts galore, while knitwear proved a winning nod to the country's chilly climate. Also of aid to battle the cold? Chic sailor caps done in a variety of color ways and patterns that topped off every look. Here, a look inside Chanel's Hamburg show.
