Chanel Created an Actual Forest In the Middle of Paris Fashion Week
Chanel has long been known for its extravagant shows courtesy of Karl Lagerfeld, like the time there was an actual rocket ship that “took off” as the finale. This time around, with a new, Rip Van Winkle-ish beard, Lagerfeld had a band of models led by Kaia Gerber, Grace Elizabeth, Adwoa Aboah, and Binx Walton forge a path through a dirt runway with crunchy, desiccated leaves beneath a canopy of trees in the Grand Palais—the most literal take yet on “fall” 2018 yet, on the final day of Paris Fashion Week.
