Lightening Up

How do you improve on champagne? Maybe you add a waterproof label that glows in the dark for hours as you empty the bottle’s contents. That’s just what Dom Pérignon has done with their new Luminous packaging of their 2002 vintage. Such a bright idea obviously entails an equally star-studded celebration, so the brand threw a bash in a Soho loft Wednesday night, replete with professional dancers and, naturally, plenty of champers. DJ Swizz Beatz helmed the decks, while Brian Atwood, China Chow, Alan Cumming, Leighton Meester, Shala Monroque and Ann Dexter-Jones tried the bubbly.
