1

I’m a sucker for anything that’s both elegant and easy to wear, which is why I’m totally taken with this jeweled 3.1 Phillip Lim sweatshirt. ($695, 31philliplim.com)

2

Alexander Wang’s first collection for Balenciaga is remarkably refined. I am enamored of his mix of rich and unusual textures with classic silhouettes, like this marbled fur chubby and slim lace trouser combo. (Jacket, $28,500, trousers, $7,700, bracelets, $425 each, bag, $1,895, and shoes, $6,350, Barneys New York, New York, 212.826.8900)

Hair by Seiji for Oribe at The Wall Group; makeup Karan Franjola for Chanel at Marek & Associates; Model: Ros at Marilyn Agency; special thanks to Dune Studios.

3

When I was young, I used to say my first “big girl” purchase would be an Hermès bag. And when that time actually comes, I’m going to get the Constance Cartable, a larger version of the iconic style but with a nifty shorter strap. ($11,400, hermes.com)

4

I love the ’60s-inspired rounded shoulders on this Proenza Schouler jacket. And apparently so do a bunch of other designers—the shape appeared on more than a few fall runways. ($2,265, Proenza Schouler, New York, 212.585.3200)

5

An embellished collar is like built-in statement jewelry. Here, it adds just the right punch to an already striking Vika Gazinskaya dress. ($3,100, shopbop.com)

6

Roger Vivier’s minaudière with sculpted flowers is more than just a clutch—it’s a collectible. ($2,795, Roger Vivier, New York, 212.861.5371)

7

The runways were full of metal chokers. This Tacori one toughens up any outfit without looking too aggressive. ($2,290, tacori.com)

8

Nina Ricci’s Peter Copping has such a great eye for color. This pale lavender pleated skirt feels fresh and pretty. ($1,635, modaoperandi.com)

9

I saw Tabitha Simmons wearing her pump–ankle boot hybrids in Paris and fell head over heels—they’re totally sexy. ($1,095, Bergdorf Goodman, New York, 212.753.7300)

10

My friend Fernanda always has the most fantastic jewelry. After I eyed her striking star ring from Eugenie Niarchos’s new line Venyx, I was excited to check out the brand’s fall collection, which debuted during the couture shows in Paris in July. My favorite piece is this black and yellow gold turtle shell ring—it takes over the finger! ($6,180, venyxworld.com)
