Gio’s Journal: Game On

“Nike invited me to its VIP booth at Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, for a Knicks versus Nets game, so I wore a Bottega Veneta tracksuit— I had to look sporty chic. And of course I bought one of those huge hands; I just love stadium souvenirs. I didn’t know which team to root for, so I went for the Nets. They lost. Next time I’ll have to choose the Knicks.”

“When I was in St. Petersburg a year and a half ago, I became enchanted with the gates there. I started studying and sketching them when I got home. And I turned those drawings into an iPhone cover [above and right] with the company Case Scenario.”
