As a jewelry lover, I was honored to be invited to LINK, the jewelry summit in Vienna hosted by Swarovski. Not only did I get to this close to the crown jewels I got to meet a personal icon, Iris Apfel. Here, some other highlights from the event.

Before the press conference officially started, I took a walk through the picturesque streets of Vienna, winding my way to the Hofburg Palace—of course, I had to see the crown jewels.

Dinner at Leloft, hosted by Swarovski—the tabletop was covered in crystals and no one could keep their hands off of them.

The conference was held at the Aula de Wissenschaften. One of the opening speakers, Lois Sherr Dubin had me try on her glass bead necklace—which she had strung herself!

During the panel break, we were treated with this eye candy of a dessert table.

Dinner at the breathtaking garden palace, Palais Liechtenstein, where guests were treated to a private viewing of the museum which is no longer open to the public.

A highlight of the two days was meeting fashion legend and jewelry lover, Iris Apfel.

I could not stop fawning over Iris’s fun and colorful bangles! One of my favorite lines from her talk: “Just because you are old, doesn’t mean you should roll up in a ball.”

These Swarovski decorated headpieces from Philip Treacy at the Swarovski store were quite a spectacle.
