Meet Casil McArthur: A Transgender Role Model for Our Times
“He sees me in a different light, and it’s allowed me to really be me,” says transgender model Casil McArthur of Steven Meisel, who shot him for a 16-page spread in W‘s September issue. Now, McArthur, 17, wants to be a role model for others: “My goal is to be that person whom other kids can look up to, someone who succeeded in being who they are.”
