MTV VMAs 2017: Katy Perry, Lorde, Paris Jackson, and All the Rest of the Red Carpet Fashion
If there is one thing you can count on the MTV VMAs to deliver year after year, it is some seriously memorable red carpet moments—and 2017 is shaping up to be no exception. This year, Katy Perry will take on hosting duties, ensuring more than a few wildly kitschy ensembles come showtime. Lorde, nominated for Video of the Year, kicked off the red carpet festivities arriving on the early side in a glamorous lavender feathered ball gown by Monique Lhuillier—a far cry from her goth looks that we’ve come accustomed to. Meanwhile, Demi Lovato showed up in glittering harem pants by Zuhair Murad, and Paris Jackson and nominee Julia Michaels both in fairytale-like gowns by Dior.
