Inside New York Fashion Week 2018’s Most Exclusive, Star-Studded Parties
While the days of New York Fashion Week are filled with endless fashion shows, freezing temperatures, and plenty of blurry iPhone videos, the nights are reserved for something a bit more fun. While the weather might still be chilly, the draw of free-flowing Champagne and private musical performances is enough to draw out even the most A-list of celebrities to trek all over the city as the hit up the very best—and most exclusive—parties of the week. On Thursday evening, Chloé kicked off the week with an intimate dinner to launch the Spring 2018 collection, co-hosted by The Webster. The candle-lit dinner brought out a number of Chloé girls, including Haley Bennett, Naomi Watts, Carlotta Kohl, Dree Hemingway, and Chloe Wise, among others, as well as the ultimate Chloé girl, new creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, who were treated to a private performance by Cat Power. On Saturday evening, Frame celebrated five years of model-beloved denim by taking over Mr. Chow, crowding the restaurant with their many loyal devotees like Karlie Kloss and Carolyn Murphy, ending the evening with a surprise performance by an ABBA cover band. Meanwhile, downtown, Proenza Schouler feted their first fragrance with a special musical performance of their own by non other than SZA. Here, go inside the best parties of the week.
