A W Editor’s Guide to the Best of Men’s Week for Women

Borrow from the Boys

Even though these looks from New York Fashion Week: Men’s, which just wrapped up on Thursday, are intended for the boys, there were a ton throughout the week that would be just as killer on the women’s runways. In fact, some of them would look great in my closet, so I went ahead and picked a few highlights for the girl who wants to borrow a couple of things from her boyfriend’s wardrobe.

Simon Miller

We love his denim for women anyway, but we have to admit that the wash of the jeans and the slight distressing on the denim jacket has us swooning.

Linder

Because everyone should have one long denim skirt in their closet to break out every once in a while.

Gypsy Sport

After winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, the brand is becoming a touch more refined, introducing lace into their collection — this tiered skirt would be a welcome addition to our closet.

Cadet

Cadet sent a few tees featuring sayings in Latin. Here is one we can all get behind, especially with the recent heartbreaking headlines – “Love conquers all.”

Ovadia & Sons

We already half-tuck our oversized men’s shirts into our jeans, but this button down, with a small embroidered rose, feels extra special.
