Paris Jackson Is the Female Answer to the Rise of “Scumbro” Fashion
This summer, it would seem that the hottest fashion trend is, well, having no sense of fashion at all. Earlier this week, Vogue declared that “Bad Taste Is the Best Thing To Happen to Fashion,” while Vanity Fair wrote about the rise of the “scumbro,” defined by their sloppy, unkempt streetwear. The poster children for said trend are the likes of Justin Bieber, Pete Davidson, and Jonah Hill, but that doesn’t mean that women can’t also partake in the non-style style. Case in point: Paris Jackson, who co-hosted a posh dinner in Beverly Hills wearing a cropped vintage t-shirt and baggy sweatpants. Of course, it’s not a look for everyone. One proponent for more traditional glam this week was Chloë Grace Moretz and Laura Harrier, as they attended the movie premieres of their new films The Miseducation of Cameron Post and BlacKkKlansman, respectively.
