Battle of the Red Carpets: Weekend Awards Shows
It was a big weekend for the red carpet. On Saturday, Zendaya set to the tone for the avalanche of awards shows to come by turning up at the annual Glaad Awards in sleek Peter Koma, a look she upstaged just later in the weekend at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. Sunday was an especially busy day, with the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, the Olivier Awards in Britain, and the Juno Awards in Canada all duking it out for red carpet dominance. And a well-tailored look wasn’t just the domain of the ladies — while the usual suspects like Selena Gomez and Nicole Kidman were present and accounted for, Zayn Malik also caught our eye in custom Balmain. The star-studded events were only rivaled by the big labels on display, which ran the gamut from Alexander McQueen to Saint Laurent.
