Save Venice 2017: All of the Over-the-Top, Glamorous Looks Inside the Masquerade Ball
This year’s Save Venice masquerade ball, a highlight of the New York gala season that on Friday was sponsored by Oscar de la Renta, was themed Dangerous Beauty: a far more wide-reaching and interpretive dress code compared to years past (2014 called for all red and black, while 2013 was a standard gala go-to with “Enchanted Garden”). The guest list, which included Poppy Delevingne, Indre Rockefeller, Miroslava Duma, Fernando Jorge, and Lindsay Ellingson, was certainly up for the challenge. Model Jessica Hart matched her plunging gold dress with a gruesome red and black face-obscuring mask, while Harry Brant opted for some intricate eye-makeup to match his vintage Jean Paul Gaultier suit.
