I recently painted my bathroom Cornforth White, a chic ecru from Farrow & Ball, and now I want everything in it to match. Fortunately, all my summer beauty finds blend perfectly.

Red Flower Rose Camelia Plum Soft-Water Mist $38, redflower.com

I like the concept of rose water, but I’m not a huge fan of the scent. In this mist, rose shares the stage with two other ingredients, so it smells more like a floral fruit basket.

Earth Tu Face + Jenni Kayne Lavender + Tea Tree + Rosewood Lip Balm $34, earthtuface.com

This multi-use stick can be used to seal brows, heal dry hands, soften cuticles and, of course, soften lips, which is where I use it because my nose benefits being so close to this mélange of aromas.

Golden Door Exfoliate Hinoki Pacific Salt Body Scrub $58, goldendoor.com

I save this body scrub for my arms and lower legs because I love the subtle shine it leaves after I rinse it off.

5

Human-Kind Apothecary DIY Milk Protein Brightening Mask $18, humankindapothecary.com

I love mixing this mask in my hand—and how smooth it makes my skin after I rinse it off.

Ilia Beauty Lipstick, $26, iliabeauty.com

Sheer, nude and organic—it’s the perfect summer lip color.

ART OF BEAUTY

Zoya “Ireland” nail polish, $10, zoya.com

After sporting dark green on my toes all through our dark, cold spring, I’ve lightened the filter to this pale, pale moss shade. Obsessed is not an overstatement.

8

Aveda Daily Light Guard SPF 30, $42, aveda.com

I try to keep my sunscreens natural, using physical blockers like titanium or zinc oxide, but they can be rather pasty. This light liquid is anything but.

9

Amanda Lacey Illuminating Eye Gel, $140, shen-beauty.com

After late nights or tear-filled movies, I count on this fast-absorbing gel the morning after. It’s a great de-puffer, but I prefer how the ladies at Shen Beauty boutique in Brooklyn describe it: “It’s so magical, like tears of a unicorn.” Makes you want it, right?

10

Iles Formula Haute Performance Finishing Serum , $44, Sephora.com

Hairstylist Wendy Iles once told me, “If I can have five spun silk hairs, I can make them look like 5,000.” She’s put her money where her mouth is with this serum that gives hair great body and amazing shine.

11

Refinery Body Wash, $50, aromatherapyassociates.com

This sandalwood and bergamot-based cleanser is the epitome of fresh, in the most gender-neutral way. My husband and I share it every morning.

12

Apa Beauty Clean White Sonic Toothbrush, $250, apabeauty
.com

This sleek brush is clinically proven to remove 35 percent more stains. Hmm, maybe I should have painted my bathroom pearly white.

13

ESPA Purifying Shampoo, $28,
us.espaskincare.com

Honey holds in moisture, and jojoba and olive oils prevent my hair from feeling like a bird’s nest.

14

Au Pays de la Fleur d’Oranger Tubereuse Rosée, $128, beautyhabit.com

My new favorite French fragrance is this dewy white-floral blend.

15

Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask, $62, fresh.com

W’s Associate Beauty Editor, Mia Adorante, turned me on to this mask. “It makes my complexion soft and balanced,” she says.

16

Chantecaille Blanc Gardenia Brightening Essence, $185, neimanmarcus.com

Out, damn spots! This light serum contains gardenia plant stem cells to slow melanin production.

17

Kayo Concentrated Slimming Serum, $46, kayobetterbodycare.com

This caffeinated botanical-infused lotion targets cellulite—but I use it to smooth my neck creases.

18

Grown Alchemist Anti-Frizz Conditioner, $49, davidpirrotta.com

Fatty acids from the Brazilian pracaxi tree tame frizz, and baobab extract protects against free radicals. Take that, humidity!
