On Monday night, as part of Boucheron’s year-long celebration of its 150th anniversary, the house held an intimate viewing of Spiegelword¹s Desir show. Held at the South Street Seaport’s Pier 17, it was followed by a casual party hosted by Vanessa Traina and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld.

Sitting up close allowed for a great view of the tremendous flexibility of the skilled performers. (Note to self: register for a yoga class tomorrow.) One of my favorite acts—a tribute to Josephine Baker—featured festive twirling hoops and strands of pearls.
