House of Herrera Goes to Mexico
What: A special House of Herrera runway show in Mexico City, including a mix of the Spring 2015 Carolina Herrera ready-to-wear collection and the debut of CH Carolina Herrera Men’s and Women’s Spring 2015 collections, followed by a gala in collaboration with the local organization Makken Moda.
Where: The landmark Universidad Claustro de Sor Juana, which dates back to 1585.
When: Friday, November 14th
Who: In addition to a who’s who of Mexico City society, the 500 attendees included celebrities and Herrera fans Dianna Agron, Olivia Palermo, Emily Van Camp and Dita Von Teese. Alexandra Richards served as the evening’s DJ.
Why: The night marked the first time Carolina Herrera has staged a runway show in Mexico—and the first time the brand has embarked on an event of this scale in North or South America.
